2:1 pitch punches 2 holes per inch and has 23 holes in an A4 sheet. 3:1 pitch is 3 holes per inch with 34 holes on an A4 sheet.
3:1 wires are are available in sizes 6.9mm to 14mm, 2:1 wires are available in sizes 6.9mm to 32mm.
