Direct to Film (DTF)

Direct to Film (DTF) is a method of producing full colour transfers for garment decoration that rivals Direct to Garment (DTG), Screen Printing, Sublimation &  White Toner Printing. Printing is onto a special coated PET film. The film is then coated with a lightweight powder adhesive that is used to adhere the transfer to the garment. The adhesive powder can be applied manually or by using an automatic powder shaker. The adhesive is then cured and is ready for normal heat transfer pressing. Laser Foiling

<strong>Laser foil fusing is a process where foil is bonded to a toner image area that was created using either a laser printer or a photocopier. </strong>The toner image is used to produce a foiled effect and is ideal for short runs, personalisation and proofs, mock-ups or in the craft world. Padding Press

<strong>A Padding Press is used to create note pads, order books, NCR </strong><strong>sets etc</strong>.The paper is loaded into the machine where it is clamped down. Once the paper is secure and clamped into place, padding or fan apart glue is applied to the back of the paper. when the glue has dried, the stack can be removed and more paper added. Our padding presses are capable of padding thousands of sheets of paper at a time.

Roller Exchange Program: The Bottcher Roller Exchange Program works like this: You call us and we ship your new rollers to you. We invoice you only for the cost of the rubber covering. You ship us your old rollers, the ones being replaced. And if you do not change out your rollers immediately, that's okay too. You have 60 days to return your old rollers to us. Almost all of the rollers in our Roller Exchange Program are shipped press ready. This means that they are fitted in our factory with new bearings and accessories.
